Mary Beth Baker, Ed.S., C.P.A. 

Mary Beth Baker is a certified psychological assistant who holds a specialist in education degree in school psychology. She has a passion for helping families better understand their children’s learning and social and emotional profiles to improve their well-being and academic success in both the home and school setting. Mary Beth works under the direct supervision of Dr. Katie Herrington, Clinical Director of Green Hills Family Psych. Their partnership provides families with a unique opportunity to have a clinical and school-based approach to the interpretation of assessments.

Mary Beth earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in school psychology, and an Education Specialist’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus in School Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.  She has 16 years of experience in a school assessment setting. She is trained in and has experience with administering and interpreting psychometric assessments.  Mary Beth has worked in a variety of school settings with many diverse populations.  She has extensive knowledge of school-based services and interventions that are research based and effective for children with learning challenges. 

 Mary Beth lives in Murfreesboro with her husband Jeffery and their two beautiful children, Henry and Sara Hunter.  They enjoy family camping trips, traveling for their children’s sporting events, and spending time at their lake property in East Tennessee.
