Cameron Mashburn, LMSW

Cameron Mashburn is an LMSW dedicated to providing hope and support through clinical treatment to adolescents and adults. After working as a social worker in community mental health, Cameron completed her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and began a counseling career. 

Cameron specializes in using evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Mindfulness and strengths-based approaches to treat those experiencing depression, OCD, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Cameron specifically enjoys working with teens to increase their social skills and ability to connect with others. As such, she is passionate about working with those who are on the autism spectrum to foster their social connectedness. Cameron also specializes in helping clients address traumatic experiences and create healthy thought patterns and attachments. She believes that therapy “…is not to change people, but to offer them space where change can take place.”

Cameron is currently pursuing her license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and is under licensure supervision with Lina Roberts, LCSW.

Cameron lives in Nashville with her husband, son, and energetic pup. When she’s not working she enjoyed reading, baking, playing tennis, and just being outside, and cheering on her alma mater (Go Vols!)
