Psychoeducational
Assessments

A psychoeducational evaluation involves the administration of psychological and educational tests/rating scales to gather in-depth information about a child’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as to determine the presence of any possible disorders.

The psychoeducational assessment process provides parents with valuable information about their child’s cognitive abilities, academic levels, and social/emotional health. The battery of tests is tailored specifically to each child’s needs and the referral concern.

We provide testing for concerns such as (but not limited to):

•    Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
•    Autism Spectrum Disorder
•    Developmental Delay
•    Specific Learning Disorders (i.e., reading, math, etc.)
•    Intellectual Disability
•    Intellectual Giftedness

The evaluation process involves three steps: an initial consultation appointment (parents only), a testing appointment, and a feedback session (generally parents only).
